Also, I have been busy working on re-designing my master bedroom.
I am also trying to do it for C-H-E-A-P.
I had a little leftover navy trim from my DIY table skirt.
Seemed like the prefect solution to dress up my not-so-great lamps.
I REALLY want new ones but that doesn't seem practical.
Here are my lamps before...
And testing out the ribbon...
I taped it in place just to see if I like it.
Turned out I did.
Don't you think it looks better?
I didn't have enough trim from both bedside lamps so I ended up cutting the trim in half.
1. Measure trim
2. Cut in half
3. Get fabric glue
4. Apply glue to lamp shade
5. Glue trim in desired position
6. Wrap trim around shade and glue together.
10 minutes later and zero dollars spent, I am happy.
I think it looks so much better.
Now I just need to clean the fingerprints off the lamp...
