Salt Lake Parade of Homes Part 2!

If you read several blogs from the Utah crowd, then you have already heard about the DIY bloggers parade home.
I had a chance to tour it this week, and I couldn't help but post about it as well.
I am so proud of my fellow local bloggers, they did such a great job and put many of the other parade homes to shame.

Each blogger was in charge of designing a room or two, they did an awesome job of working together and keeping the home feel cohesive.

The exterior is beautiful.
The wrap around porch, blue siding, white trim, and yellow door are perfect.
Who wouldn't want to come home to this house?

Jen from Tatertots & Jello designed the office.
She made the chandelier, painted the rug, and refinished the desk.
I love that desk!

Designer Brain Clark was in charge of the front room.
Check out that ceiling! He simply used the popular board and batten wall treatment and placed it on the ceiling. What a great and inexpensive way to dress up a room.

Let's talk about that blue barn door.
I absolutely love it. It sure adds a lot of personality to the hallway.

The dining room was designed by Shelly from The House of Smiths.
I can't get over the walls! It is simply MDF spaced about 1 1/2" from each other and then all painted white.

That light is pretty fabulous too, don't you think?!

The nursery was designed by Char from Crap I've Made and Lara from Less Cake More Frosting.

I love the art above the crib, so simple but makes such a big statement.

I am also quite fond of the master bedroom!
I am not exactly sure who designed it, so if you know, please share!

Everything is light and airy, just like the rest of the house.
I am positive I could get a good nights rest in that bed.

And last but not least, the laundry room.
I must admit, it may have been my favorite room in the house.
Amy from The Idea Room designed this space. I love the blue and yellow color scheme and overall bright and cheery vibe!

I may even enjoy doing laundry in there.
If you are in the area, I highly recommend you check this one out. It is always much better in person and packed full of great affordable ideas!
