not your typical tree topper

i wasn't happy with my tree topper.

i've had it for 5 years and never liked it.

this year i made a goal to NOT buy new christmas decorations.

i had to get creative.

i scored two of these mirrors a couple months back from my local thrift store.

$1.00 each, seemed like a deal to me.

i decided to tape the two of them together and use as my tree topper.

i know it's not a typical tree topper, but i kind of like it.

i think the shape, color, and finish of the mirrors give it that christmas feel.

what do you think?

should i keep it?

i also found this mirror at a thrift store for $.75

i think it looks perfect peeking through the branches.
